gobble, gobble, ouch

thanksgiving was tops! first off, we had glenna over for the week and that was fantastic! she's a great aunt and the kids just love having her around. and her sisters-in-law also love having her around for her mad babysitting skills;) we love you glenna. we had thanksgiving dinner at pat's and hershel's-it was super! they bought a ride-on train to keep the kids entertained and boy, was that a life saver! they loved it-and so did we. we hit the stores on black friday morning with our children-yes, we are a little crazy. but it was fun and not as bad as it could have been i suppose. and yesterday afternoon, mason and i took the kids to the park where we had a lovely picnic lunch before we headed home for some much needed naps. mason got the christmas lights up(with some help from sila) and it's beginning to look a lot like christmas at the patterson residence. to top off the weekend, we had a delicious dinner at the summers home last night and we had some good laughs as usual. unfortunately, mason came home with a monstrous toothache whose middle name was relentless. my poor husband was up all night in pain-i felt so sorry for him. he's taken everything under the sun to try and relieve the pain but alas, he has gone to urgent care where hopefully, they'll give him some antibiotics so he can sleep tonight. and there you have it, our week of fun, food, family, friends, and a toothache. we sure are blessed.

We're so sad we missed it! Glad you guys had a good time, I need to fly Glenna out here and then make her work off the fare with babysitting :)

Hope your tooth feels better Mason. Its always fun hanging out with you guys, so I'm thinking we need to plan a Christmas Party. Let me know what you think.

Tooth/mouth pain sucks rocks! I hope he got it taken care of.

We must've been looking at eachother's blog at the same time :)

Sounds like you have some super fun traditions. Your traditions incorporate a ton of service which is so rad! If I were to be making sugar cookies every monday I would be ten pounds heavier at the end of December :)

We'll be visiting for a week in January so maybe we'll see you while we're there. Bret had to take state boards and we're going to start looking at houses...
