apparently with all the talk last week about mother's day, sila was beginning to feel a little left out...
sila: mom, when's mother's day?
mom: it's on sunday.
sila: (after a moment of silence) when's father's day?
mom: next month, in june.
sila: (after another pause) well, when's it going to be sister's day?!
a valid question i thought.

That is too cute. Only Sila would want to know when her day is. I'm glad you had a wonderful mother's day.
that's funny...avery asked on the way home from church when "kids" days is? but it turns out in hawaii they actually celebrate girls day amd boys days but no way was i buying anything to celebrate those. as ben says - it's kids day everyday.
